Hi, I’m SUE TOCHER.

I grew up loving to help my mother prepare food in the kitchen and eventually I became a pretty good cook in my own right. I thought about pursuing a career in culinary arts and began by studying food service. A year or so into college I was not in the best of health. I was carrying extra weight and having leg and knee pain with walking and exercising. When I went to see my doctor he was blunt with me: “You need to lose weight”. As hard as it was to hear this, I realize now he did me a huge favor. It sent me on a path I would never stop following: how can I prepare foods that I love to eat while still being healthy? That’s when I discovered the science of nutrition. I went on to earn a bachelor’s of science and a master’s degree in nutritional science and I haven’t looked back. This shift set my life on a whole new trajectory. I could prepare delicious foods but with a knew awareness on how to make good food that is good for me. And along the way I have built a career around nutrition that to this day I still enjoy. I love sharing my passion and get such gratification seeing my clients when they experience the transformative power of food.


My Approach

It all begins with an initial visit where I learn about your health history and your current day to day routine. Whatever your personal goal is, we will sit down and figure out an individualized plan. For instance, if your goal is weight loss to improve overall health and well being, together we will develop a strategy complete with meal plans, grocery lists, prep work timeline, etc. that will fit your lifestyle, budget and cooking abilities. There is no “One size fits all” .
